2009-2010 U12G Red Team Info Page

The DePere Select U12 Girls Red team won the championship of the Spring Premier Challenge in Appleton, May 1-2. They defeated the Appleton Tigers 3-1 in the championship game. Kelsey Keast, Amelia Matzke and Lili Porter each scored a goal in the victory. In bracket play leading up to the championship game, the U12 Red team defeated Appleton Tigers, 3-2, in the opening game behind goals from Cayley Griffin, Lydia (Shoes) Hillesheim and Olivia DiCastro. In games two and three, the U12G Red team rode strong defensive performances to claim shutout victories against Green Bay Lightning White, 4-0, and DePere Select White, 2-0. In the Green Bay game, Kennedy Grovogel and Lydia Hilleshiem combined to shut out GB Lightning, while Sarah Dickmann scored two goals, and Brooke Gajewski and Chloe Pallex each netted one. Against DePere White, Kelsey Keast scored twice and Kennedy Grovogel went the distance in goal for the shut out.
